EMPLOYMENT:
Two Employment Exchanges are functioning in the district. One is the District Employment Exchange functioning at Kasargod (for unemployed persons of Kasargod Taluk) and the other is the Town Employment Exchange, functioning at Kanhangad town (for Hosdurg Taluk). The Employment Information and Assistance Bureau is Manjeshwar Block Office
LABOUR:
The District Labour Office consolidates and enforces the Labour Laws and Labour Welfare Measures in this District. Conciliation and settlement of Industrial Disputes, distribution of Financial Assistance under various Labour Welfare schemes viz., Tree Climbers Welfare Fund, Agricultural Workers Pension etc, implementing Labour Laws and taking action against the violation of Labour Laws. Attending Gratuity cases-conducting enquiry on subsistence claims, helping to maintain peace and stability in industrial relation through a smooth and peaceful way of functioning and by intervening at the right time and situation are also attended to.
